Encounters, on display in the Rachael Raab Gallery from August 27 through October 26 presents the work of Jose Ney, curated by his son, Ney. The exhibition offers an intimate portrait of a photographer, and a retelling of this man’s story through the eyes and words of his son.

La expresión ′′ pionero ′′ es tan completa y en principio promete grandes cosas, apunta a todo aquello que provoca emociones y pasa a la historia para siempre.

El espíritu pionero crea escándalos, irrita y asusta. Los pioneros suelen encontrarse con la incomprensión y el rechazo, precisamente porque no quiere entender la lógica general. No es de extrañar, porque siempre están un paso adelante de la sociedad y la vida estandarizada.
