Las fotografías tipo pasaporte que utilizo para las obras de la Serie Puzzles, las he realizado a emigrantes que huyen de sus países debido a que corren peligro para sus vidas, a menudo me cuentan sus historias y muchas de ellas son desoladoras.
Es posible que la mayoría de ellos sean aceptados como refugiados por tiempo indefinido, otros solo temporalmente y los más desafortunados serán deportados a sus países de origen.
Utilizo diferentes técnicas de desorientación facial, sobre todo para los niños que viven esas tragedias, pretendo trasmitir los sentimientos de estas personas, sus angustias y el conflicto psicológico devenido por la inseguridad del futuro de sus vidas y la de sus seres queridos.

Cada obra contiene múltiples imágenes que se entre mezclan y crecen en diferentes direcciones relacionados con la familia, los amigos y los recién conocidos.
Mutaciones de Identidad. 2020.
La adaptación de los individuos que son forzados a emigrar y que terminan en territorios con culturas diferentes no es tan sencilla. El conflicto inconsciente entre lo arraigado y las nuevas exigencias sociales de su nuevo entorno, es lento, silencioso pero inevitable.
Anónimos. 2020.
Hoy en día la angustia y la inseguridad es mucho mayor para las personas que están en un limbo legal atrapados en el proceso de su solicitud de asilo o de refugio, mientras se extiende este nuevo enemigo invisible para la vida de los humanos, en cualquier parte y en cualquier momento.
Introspección. 2021.
Figuras geométricas de tres dimensiones inspirado en la forma del cubo y que solamente puede verse una parte de él, el resto está incrustrado en el plano del suelo, de la pared o en ambos. Tienen una entrada visual que nos comunica ilusoriamente hacia adentro, producto de las reflexiones de los espejos y la luz en su interior.
Estos cubos cubiertos con imágenes fotográficas tratan de representar la situación psicológica de los emigrantes durante su proceso legal. No se puede apreciar si el cubo se está hundiendo, está estabilizado o si está elevándose. Depende del peso que lleves dentro de tí y de la gravedad del espacio, donde te encuentres.

Estos tratan de replantear las identidades, la tolerancia y el sentir en la piel del otro como idea central.
The passport-type photographs that I use for the works of the Puzzles Series, I have taken of emigrants who flee their countries because their lives are in danger, they often tell me their stories and many of them are heartbreaking.
It is possible that most of them will be accepted as refugees indefinitely, others only temporarily and the most unfortunate will be deported to their countries of origin.
I use different techniques of facial disorientation, especially for children who experience these tragedies. I intend to convey the feelings of these people, their anguish and the psychological conflict caused by the insecurity of the future of their lives and that of their loved ones.

It is related to the adaptation of individuals who are forced to migrate and who end up in territories with a different culture. The unconscious conflict between the ingrained and the new customs or social demands of their new environment is slow, silent, but inevitable.

Today the anguish and insecurity is much greater for people who are in legal limbo caught in the process of their application for asylum or refuge, while this new invisible enemy extends to the life of humans, anywhere and at any time.
Introspection. 2021.
Three-dimensional geometric figures inspired by the shape of the cube and only a part of it can be seen, the rest is embedded in the plane of the floor, the wall or both. They have a visual entrance that illusorily communicates us inward, product of the reflections of the mirrors and the light inside.
These cubes covered with photographic images try to represent the psychological situation of the emigrants during their legal process. You can't tell if the cube is sinking, stabilizing, or rising. It depends on the weight you carry inside you and the gravity of space, where you are.
